Biotechnology Engineer from the Interdisciplinary Professional Engineering Unit, Campus Guanajuato of the IPN. Subsequently, she obtained the degree of Master of Science in Biomedicine and Molecular Biotechnology from the National School of Biological Sciences of the IPN, where she carried out studies related to polyamine inhibitors in prostate cancer cells.

In 2019, joined the Research and Development team, where she focused on the development of tools for the detection of pathogens of agricultural and aquaculture interest. Subsequently, she served as Health Manager, coordinating documentation, quality control, and validation of useful diagnostic kits in response to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, as well as managing compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Derived from this period, the requirements for obtaining the certificate of good manufacturing practices were fully met, thus guaranteeing the quality of Genes2Life products.

She is currently part of the scientific staff of ITRASIG, where she participates in the development of tools for the care of contagious diseases of social importance, such as HPV and HIV, providing opinions based on science and grounded within the current regulatory framework in Mexico . She recently obtained the qualification as a technical expert in the area of aquaculture and plant health by molecular techniques granted by the Mexican Accreditation Entity.
