Mauricio Díaz Sánchez

Graduated with a degree in biology from the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos and the master's degree in biochemical sciences from the Institute of Biotechnology of the National University Autonomous of Mexico.

Operations manager from 2014 to 2019 in T4 Oligo (the only company of nucleic acid synthesis in Latin America). From 2019 to date, Manager of the molecular biology area and partner of the business group "Grupo T" made up of T4 Oligo and Genes2Life, focused on the production of raw material for scientific research, as well as the development of systems of diagnostics based on nucleic acids. Currently scientific director of the Translational Institute for Genomic Singularity, ITRASIG.

Throughout his professional career he has become an expert in the synthesis of synthetic nucleic acids, as well as in the development and implementation of multiple nucleic acid-based molecular tools for the detection, diagnosis and genotyping of human pathogens such as: SARS-CoV-2, Influenza, Dengue, HPV, Adenovirus, RSV, Hepatitis, M. tuberculosis, HIV, among others.
