ITRASIG signs an agreement with the Mexican Meat Council.

The Translational Institute of Genomic Singularity (ITRASIG) and the Mexican Meat Council (COMECARNE) sign a collaboration agreement, which establishes the bases for small and large producers of the meat industry to have access to truthful information about scientific developments applicable to meat production.

The publication and diffusion in digital media of content with important information for the sector.

ITRASIG's participation in the 2023 Meat and Dairy Expo, where ITRASIG will give a presentation on the theme "The role of molecular techniques in livestock production".

And the sponsorship by the Mexican Meat Council of a stand at the 2023 Meat and Dairy Expo with which it is intended that attendees have easy access to information on molecular markers applicable to meat production and the methods identification of these markers developed by ITRASIG.

ITRASIG receives students from ITESZ.

On October 24, 2022, we received at the ITRASIG facilities higher-level students who are studying Agronomy at the Technological Institute of Higher Studies of Zamora (ITESZ).
In this event, the students had the opportunity to tour our laboratory and learn about the research activities carried out at the institute. To enrich the visit of the young students, Dr. Roberto Mondéjar Canet, gave the workshop "Molecular diagnosis facing the challenges of current agriculture", where the students delved into the problems facing the agricultural sector in Mexico and the solutions that thanks to scientific research, have been developed for the benefit not only for small producers, but also for the population in general.

With these actions we reaffirm our commitment to the training of young scientists in our country.

Boys, girls and teenagers learn by the hand of ITRASIG.

One of our commitments with Mexican children is to bring knowledge closer through activities that are fun for them and allow them to internalize knowledge.
That is why from October 5 to 9, 2022 ITRASIG was present at the "Papirolas" festival, which is organized by the University of Guadalajara and whose objective is to generate learning, invite reflection and give smiles to children, and adolescents between 0 and 18 years old.

Our participation in this great event consisted of teaching the little ones, what and how a molecular biology laboratory is, for this we used our APOLO mobile laboratory. With this activity we approach thousands of children and adolescents with knowledge and sow in them the need to keep learning and use their curiosity as a motivation to do so.
