PhD. María Concepción García Pérez
Biochemical Engineer graduated from the National Institute of Mexico in Celaya; She completed her Master's and Doctorate studies in Plant Biotechnology at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the IPN.
With experience in teaching at the upper secondary and higher level. Joining the labor area in the tequila industry and organic fertilizers. Working hard in the search and characterization of secondary metabolites with antimicrobial activity for biological control and the formulation of organic fertilizers for commercialization.
During the 2020 health contingency and to date, she joined the SARsCoV-2 molecular diagnostic kit design group manufactured by Genes2Life in the city of Irapuato.
Currently, she works as a Researcher at ITRASIG, collaborating in projects aimed at the accurate and timely diagnosis of diseases to eliminate in plants and humans.
She has 5 published articles in international scientific journals in the Biochemistry and Microbiology areas, 2 book chapters and 1 national patent.
